Camp Schedule Overview (10:00 AM – 12:20 PM):

 

9:40 AM – 10:00 AM: Registration, Measurements, and Jersey Distribution (20 minutes)

 

10:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Stretching and Warm-Up (15 minutes)

 

10:15 AM – 11:35 AM: Testing (4 Stations, 80 minutes total)

 

11:35 AM – 12:20 PM: Scrimmages by Position (45 minutes total)

 

Detailed Schedule

9:40 AM – 10:00 AM: Registration, Measurements, and Jersey Distribution (20 minutes)

 

Activities:

– Measure height, weight, and wingspan.

– Distribute practice jerseys with identification numbers.

Purpose: Ensure athletes are registered, identified, and ready for testing.

 

10:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Stretching and Warm-Up (15 minutes)

 

Dynamic stretching and movement drills to prepare athletes for testing.

 

10:15 AM – 11:35 AM: Testing (4 Stations, 80 minutes total)

 

Athlete Groups: Divide the 100 athletes into 4 groups of 25.

Station Setup: Each station runs on a separate half-court.

– Station 1 (Court A, Half 1): Vertical Jump

– Station 2 (Court A, Half 2): 3/4 Court Sprint

– Station 3 (Court B, Half 1): Lateral Lane Shuttle

– Station 4 (Court B, Half 2): Lane Agility Drill

 

Rotation Structure: Each group spends 18 minutes at each station (including a 2-minute transition).

– 10:15 AM – 10:33 AM: Round 1 (18 minutes)

– 10:33 AM – 10:51 AM: Round 2 (18 minutes)

– 10:51 AM – 11:09 AM: Round 3 (18 minutes)

– 11:09 AM – 11:27 AM: Round 4 (18 minutes)

 

11:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Short break and prepare for rotational scrimmages.

 

11:45 AM – 12:15 PM: Rotational 5-Minute Scrimmages (45 minutes total)

 

Setup: Divide athletes into position-based teams (e.g., Team A: PG, SG, SF, PF, C) and rotate through 5-minute games.

Run 9 games (2 courts x 4 rounds of 5 minutes each, with a final game for mixed groups).

 

12:20 PM: End of camp/showcase. Athletes dismissed and given next steps instructions.
